The piece

Somewhere between a keepsake box and a smuggler's chest, The Elderwood Vault carries every Switch and Switch 2 cartridge like buried treasure. Weathered planks, scrollwork corner brackets, and a latch that clicks satisfyingly shut give it the presence of something dug up from an old ruin. Lift the lid and twelve cartridges wait in three neat rows, ready to travel.

Design choice

Twelve slots run in three columns of four, angled just enough to grip each cartridge without swallowing it. A game slides free with a light pinch. The domed lid closes over a raised inner lip that keeps it seated true, so the chest sits flush and square even after repeated opening. Every plank line and hinge detail is hand-carved into the model itself, so they read as part of the wood.

Colors

Made in Army beige and Chocolate brown.
